I was a hard core Kara/Lee shipper. And I still am in fanon. But in canon...this show is a human tragedy. It's like saying I SHIP ROMEO AND JULIET AND CATHY AND HEATHCLIFF ARE MY OTP. :p But that's not to say that I wouldn't be grateful if RDM threw us a bone :D
YES!!! I used to be far more hopeful about Lee/Kara, but given how dark the show is, and especially how dark the premiere was . . . I'm just hoping for a couple more MOMENTS before the show goes away! :)
You should definitely check out The Big Bang Theory sometime if you have the chance. I rewatched all of it over Christmas while I was home and got my mom and sister into it. It's pretty hilarious (especially Sheldon), but everyone has their moments, and I love episodes that focus on Sheldon and Penny together. I really need an icon for that show!
I've been a little reluctant to check it out 'cause I'm kind of a geek and don't always have the greatest sense of humor about myself, but I think I've finally been convinced!
I've decided that Booth and Brennan need to kiss, but NOT get together, because we all know in tv land couples can't stay happy (hello Angela/Hodgins).
I can't decide! I'm really worried that if they did get together, they'd end up breaking them up (and if A/H is any indication, the writers don't do realistic breaks ups), but I REALLY want to see them together. It would be HILARIOUS seeing them try to deal with all of the problems of being a real couple!
But maybe they can just start kissing from time to time without getting together right away . ..
Normally I stick to one ship and Lost is the exception. I don't know if it's because of the writing or the acting or both. There are times when I love Kate & Sawyer and other times Kate & Jack. I think the problem is the guys are so different and they seem to meet Kate's needs in different ways. If you could combine them, you'd have the perfect guy.
Sadly, I think Lee & Kara have a better chance of happily ever after then Adama and Roslin. I only say that because Laura is sick. Otherwise, I think they could make it for the long haul and of course I want Kara & Lee to make it.
I said do homework because I figured I should be a positive role model. lol. Fringe and Merlin are good shows and I've heard a lot of positives on Big Bang Theory. So many shows, not enough time!
I'm on the Jack/Kate side, but I do think Kate genuinely loves them both (and they both love her). You're probably right about combining them, but, in the end, I guess I just feel like Jack and Kate can get more from each other than Kate and Sawyer can.
We might be heading toward a sad ending for both couples! Outside of the cancer, I think Roslin/Adama have a better chance, just because Lee/Kara have been SO full of angst. I'm really, really hoping though that they'll get a real story in these last few episodes.
Ha, I'm never sure if the good friends are the ones who vote for the homework or not! I watched Fringe in the fall, but got behind, and the previews make me want to catch up! And of course everyone's saying great things about the other two!
