Worst comes to worst I work as a receptionist by day, PhD student by night (hahahha, I am only kind of kidding - what has my life come to?)

LOL! Education is addicting! I'm glad to be done, but I'm so good at it, lol!

My dad was asking me today if I was going to do my PhD, and I said, NO... well not right away. OH GOD MY LIFE. And I started thinking about it a little, so we shall see.

I always go back and forth on whether I want more education. Right now, I definitely want to MAKE SOME MONEY, but I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up back at school. Probably studying something entirely new, haha.

Yeah, I mean that's the great thing about our generation! We don't have to get a job and then work it for the rest of our lives. Things can be temporary! That's not really an option our parents had.

And it really does seem like such a . . . common thing to do, you know? Like you're not even expected to keep a job for all that long!

Yeah! That's why even though I am scared... I am not terrified. Or I am but not as much as I potentially could be? It's not the end of the world if I have to work as a receptionist for a few years.

Yeah, one of my friends worked as a receptionist in a law office for a couple of years, then got into doing a little paralegal work and is now back at school for a master's in education . . . and her original degree was in psychology!

So you never know. That's what I'm trying to tell myself, too. There's something out there for me! (Probably would help if I applied for some more jobs.)

Exactly, we just have to keep telling ourselves these things. Something is going to come along sooner or later.
