Um, and if you're paying attention, no, none of these shows were on the last poll I posted. Life is crazy like that.

I have never heard of Cupid and Instant Star so I'm going with something else because I've recently watched In Treatment and was very intrigued by it so there's an option for you. Other than that Secret Diary of a Call Girl was also pretty intriguing, watched the whole show a while back already.

Cupid is the show Rob Thomas did before Veronica Mars. And there's a new version of it in the works, so I want to check it out.

I've heard some good things about In Treatment. I might have to check it out sometime. :)

I haven't seen SDoaCG, so you need to watch it and let me know how it is.... :)

I'm a little nervous to see Billie Piper in such a different role!

Yeah, that's why I haven't watched it yet....I'm sure she's fantastic, but I'm afraid I'll only be like "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Yeah. I definitely knew I couldn't watch it immediately after Doctor Who! But maybe now enough time has passed . . .

You should watch Criminal Minds and Psych. :)

Psych's intrigued me for a while. I hear good things about it!

Secret Diary was definitely different. But I liked it, and will watch next season (although I think Billie Piper looks like a horse half the time).

I haven't seen enough of Instant Star to have an opinion on it.

I was interested in before I watched DW and now I want to see her in such a different role. I've heard good things about her performance from people who don't know her from DW.

I just think her face looks funky sometimes. I think it's her jaw, but it reminds me of a horse! Other times I think she looks fine.

I think I'll end up watching SDOACG first and then Cupid. They're both pretty short, so neither should take me long.

I voted for Instant Star, because it is such fun and I have no one to talk about it with. I also haven't seen the others and am not sure enough of what you've seen to suggest something else. I will say I liked Cupid when it aired, but I now refuse to watch anything touched by Rob Thomas, so that's out. :)

Yeah, third season VM took away most of my Rob Thomas love, but when he's good, he's SO good.

I've seen most of the obvious mainstream things. You know, Buffy, Alias, Grey's Anatomy, etc. So now I have to search out the lesser known shows! :)

I do want to watch Instant Star, but I might watch the others first, since they're much shorter.

I voted for something else simply because I've never heard of the shows your poll mentioned.

Yeah, they're all a little more obscure. I think I've just about ran out of the popular ones.

Hello! I've just friended you, since no one in my real life enjoys HIMYM and I need more outlets to analyze how adorably awesome it is. Hope that is alright. Also, I've seen all three of these series and they are all equally though different kinds of awesome. You can't go wrong. Instant Star was totally my dirty secret tv show until I realized my roommate was also watching it when I wasn't home. But yeah, I would start with Cupid and SDOACG because they are so short. I was also worried about only seeing Rose in Secret Diary, but honestly Billie does such a great job that they are really two completely separate characters.

Thanks! I finished SDOACG last night (yeah, I totally went for the shortest show first!) and I did enjoy it. And you're right, Billie does an amazing job. No Rose there at all.

I think Cupid is next, though I'll probably won't start it until next week. And then I'll go with Instant Star, which sound like it will be a fabulous guilty pleasure. :)
