I've watched so many hours of the Olympics today! Mostly the CBC coverage since NBC shows hardly anything live (and even when it IS "live", it isn't on the west coast). Of course, thanks to How I Met Your Mother, I find it hilarious every time they say "about." (Sorry, Canadians. Blame HIMYM!)

If that was his toughest event and he won by a considerable margin AND broke (his own!) world record . . . yeah, dude. You have to win all 8 golds. It's your own fault, you know. ;)

But now I'm caught up on all of it, so I'm going to going to take a bath and read . . . I know there's stuff on now, but if I watched it, I'd have to watch commercials and I've been a TiVo owner for too long to be able to deal with those.

I can't stop watching Michael Phelps...he's like a dolphin. OR a sea otter.

Or a merman.

IDK BUT HE SURE IS GOOD.

He's crazy fast!

How do we say about? *squints eyes menacingly*

I maintain that we say 'about' properly, and Americans say "abat."

*giggle*

The real part I find hilarious is we say most words the same . . . there's just the one or two we make fun of each other for. ;)

Hee, so true. We need SOMETHING to tell us apart. ;)
