Yes! That's exactly it! So many times they'll have someone show up, and "BOOM! They're in love with someone." There's no story, but we're supposed to be invested in them, right off! It's a trend on the show that really bugs me.

But then they've done a couple of love stories I really loved. Well, mainly both of Cristina's. (Heh. I love her.) They went more slowly and Cristina is so, so not the person who's going to believe in soulmates.

And even if Denny was Izzie's soulmate, it's time to move on! Burke and Cristina had a much deeper relationship, and she is!
