5. "Why are you nice to me?", "The Man in the Morgue" (1x19)
Brennan: Why are you nice to me?
Booth: Because. Because they think they get away with it.
Brennan: What?
Booth: They burn their victim, they blow 'em up, they toss 'em in the ocean, they bury them in the desert, they...they throw 'em to wood chippers. Sometimes, you know, years go by. They relax. And they start living their lives like they didn't do anything wrong. Like they didn't spend somebody else's life in order to get what they got. They think they're safe from retribution. But you make those bastards unsafe. That's why I'm nice to you.
Brennan: I couldn't do that without you, Booth.
Booth: Yeah. So, uh, you should be a little nicer to me, huh?

Sure, they're all crazy in love with each other now, but I think this is one of the first moments where Brennan realizes how special Booth is and how much she owes him.
4. Watching Parker and Max together, "The Bone that Blew" (4x11)
Booth: Don't fire Max. Let him keep his job. You know, he's a teacher, he's not a janitor.
Brennan: I can't overlook the sanctity of the forensic lab, Booth.
Booth: Yeah. Maybe you could overlook it for me.
Brennan: For you?
Booth: Yeah. Personal favor.
Brennan: What, like a partner thing?
Booth: Partner thing.
Brennan: I know you, Booth. You're trying to do me a favor by telling me it's a favor for you.
Booth: No. No, I can't afford that school. I can't enrich Parker. Not with the science thing. But you can. Max can.

Brennan: Look at my dad.
Booth: Look at my boy there with your dad.
Brennan: Okay, yes. All right.
Booth: Thanks, Bones.
There's so much to love in this scene--Booth asking for a personal favor! Brennan seeing through it!--but the thing I love most of all is the expectation that Brennan and her father are going to be a significant presence in Booth's son's life. They don't make a big deal about it, but it's there. They're already a family.
2. "Anthropology may have it wrong," "The Con Man in the Meth Lab" (4x09)
Brennan: Anthropology teaches us that the alpha male is the man wearing the crown, displaying the most colorful plumage, and the shiniest baubles, he stands out from the others, but I now think anthropology may have it wrong. In working with Booth, I've come to realize that the quiet man, the invisible man, the man who is always there for friends and family, that's the real alpha male. And I promise that my eyes will never be caught by those shiny baubles again. Happy Birthday, Booth.
As I said after this episode aired, this is Brennan's declaration of love (though she probably doesn't realize it). I mean, "anthropology may have it wrong"?????? Who ever thought we'd hear that from Brennan?
1. Coffee, "The Secret in the Soil" (3x04)
Sweets: I have observed some underlying issues that need to be addressed.
Booth: Issues?
Sweets: Yes. There's clearly a very deep emotional attachment between you two.
Booth: We're just partners.
Sweets: And why do you think I would have thought otherwise?
Booth: 'Cause you're twelve.
Brennan: Don't read into anything that Booth said. We're professionals. There's a line that doesn't even need to be there.
Booth: Not at all. I mean, if there were no more murders, I would probably not even, you know, see her.
Brennan: That's very true.
Booth: Might have coffee.
Brennan: Probably not.
Booth: What?
Brennan: What?
Booth: You wouldn't even have coffee with me?
Brennan: Well, in your scenario, we wouldn't even know each other because there are no murders.
Booth: Were. I said "no more murders."
Brennan: Then fine. I mean, we could have coffee. So that's clear, then? I mean, we'd have coffee and that's our relationship. Coffee.
In his very first episode, Sweets picks up on the "deep emotional attachment" between Booth and Brennan. And, oh, how hurt Booth is when Brennan says he wouldn't have coffee with him! And I love just the acknowledgment here that they would still be part of each other's lives, even if their jobs didn't require it. And Sweets' grin as they're talking! Even if he didn't know before, he certainly would by the end of the scene!

After this episode first aired, I posted a poll that asked if Booth and Brennan knew they were in love with each other. 12 people said Booth knew (8 said he didn't) and 3 people said Brennan knew (17 said she didn't). And that's pretty much what I got out of this scene. It was the first time that I thought Booth might know exactly what's going on between the two of them. And though I don't think Brennan's there yet in this scene, I love how accepting she is about Booth's proclamation. 5. Chuck/Blair, "Hi, Society" Gossip Girl 1x10
So there are certainly lots of kissing scenes on TV, but I haven't seen very many making out scenes, and that's why I love this one. Chuck and Blair are just thoroughly enjoying the act of kissing. It doesn't even seem to be headed toward sex. (Though, knowing these two, it probably would've gotten there eventually.)

Look how happy they both are! We rarely get to see Cristina smile like this and, though Owen's a new character, we know him well enough to know it's rare for him to be this happy, too.
2. Joey/Pacey, "Stolen Kisses," Dawson's Creek 3x19
This was the first time Joey kissed Pacey. Before this, it had always been him doing the pursing, but this is the instant when Joey decided it was all worth it, and just went for it.
I freaking love Ausiello! He makes me laugh and always seems to give me just the right amount of scoop. Very rarely have I read something from him that I wished I didn't know.
It took me a while to get into Facebook, but it's ended up being the number one resource I use to keep touch with people in my real life. Plus, there's always the fun factor of seeing what old acquaintances are up to.

3. Logan/Veronica, "Weapons of Class Destruction, Veronica Mars 1x18
This is probably my favorite first kiss. It was so unexpected and passionate!
2. Joey/Pacey, "Stolen Kisses," Dawson's Creek 3x19
This was the first time Joey kissed Pacey. Before this, it had always been him doing the pursing, but this is the instant when Joey decided it was all worth it, and just went for it.
1. John/Aeryn, "A Human Reaction," Farscape
This was such a gorgeous moment and so indicative of their relationship as a whole. John moved so slowly and Aeryn cautiously responded. Good stuff.

There really aren't enough make out sessions on tv. Someone needs to fix that. I mean, sex scenes are great, but for the most part they can't really ever show anything so we technically get even less "action" than in make out scenes. haha.

My freshman year of college was probably the most "Skins" like year of my life, and when I studied abroad in London...but I was 18-20 then, not 16. lol! It's really only a couple of years, but when you're that young a couple of years is a long time and you can grow up a lot. I was a completely different person when I was 16 than when I was 19/20.

I really love that anthropology got it wrong speech Brennan said to Booth. I mean if Booth's "there's someone for everyone" was his declaration of love, I think anthropology is wrong is about as close to love as Brennan's going to get (without outright saying it)
