HIMYM Finale

OH, BARNEY/ROBIN! WE GOT MAKING OUT!!!!

I think this really was the right way to go: Robin knows, both their commitment issues were on full (HILARIOUS) display, and, oh yeah, WE GOT MAKING OUT!!!

I was hoping for a little more with them at the end, but I loved what we got. They can go in so many directions from here. My interpretation is they'll be in some kind of relationship next year, but given that neither can say "I love you" without the other freaking out, I don't think they're in danger of getting married and opening that B&B anytime soon.

(ALSO. It gives me all kinds of fic ideas. Isn't nice when shows are considerate like that?)

Stupid Josh Radnor spoiled me for part about the mother. I guess we'll have to see how that works? I've had plenty of professors who I was just a name to, but would Ted really be that kind of teacher? Hm. I mean, maybe (probably) he won't fall in love with her until (much?) later, but it certainly seems like he'd have to "meet" her now.

I kind of rolled my eyes at leaping over the other building at first, but, you know what? It works. It's not like Ted has ever been the most reliable story teller.

And we got the goat!

Now let's see how Gossip Girl treats me!

Aren't you glad that I told you not to watch the promo. Because personally, I'm really glad that I told you not to. LOL! I had unfortunately seen the Barney/Robin kiss at least 100 times before tonight.
IT WAS STILL HOT THOUGH! And on a bigger screen than youtube!

I hoped for a bit more at the end too. Like after Barney jumped over I wanted him to kiss her or something (mostly because I was greedily hoping for a 2nd kiss). He did go in to hug her though.

I've had plenty of professors who I was just a name to, but would Ted really be that kind of teacher?
Well, it looked like he was teaching one of those lecture classes with 100+ students. I took a couple of those and I always felt like the professors really only knew maybe 5 students by name. And the other 95 were just numbers on a scantron. And if you were a professor that taught a lot of lecture classes? That would mean you would have literally hundreds of students every semester.

YES! THANK YOU! I just watched the promo, and WOW, that really was a LOT. I mean, that's the entire resolution right there!

Yes, I was hoping for a kiss, or even a waking up together. But I saw the hug, too!

I was trying to decide that. I thought that's what Josh said, but it looked smaller to me. But I guess they can get away with it!
