The things I feel guilty about. I sat down to watch Bones, feeling happy about having one of my favorite shows back, and then the opening credits started and I realized I'd forgotten to remind my dad to watch it! So I rushed over to my computer and sent off an e-mail to my parents. My mom replied back that he was watching it, and was going to send me an e-mail berating me for not reminding him!

I just finished watching the New Amsterdam pilot. I liked it. Not in love yet, but I'll keep watching. It did, however, leave me with a couple of questions:
1. Should we take it as a fact that this woman is "the one"? It's the central premise of the show, so I feel like I should be more sure about this.
2. If it took John 400 years to find his soulmate, what hope do the rest of us have? If my soulmate lived 400 years ago or won't exist for 400 more years, am I just out of luck?
