I didn't think I'd be able to focus long enough to get much done, but I ended up colliding several characters, which helped me clarify some backstories. So, yay!
I loved the tag with Jim coming to a sudden realization about his life and that he might not be so different from Michael after all. I've read a lot of speculation that this season is going to be about Jim figuring out what else he wants from life now that he has Pam. I'd love to see that.
Also, I'm loving Dwight this season! Maybe it's the Angela heartbreak, but he seems so much more human and likable. It was great seeing him watch out for Michael like that.
I keep trying to love this show like I used to, but I can't. They keep spending time on storylines I'm not interested in. I already knew George and Izzie didn't have chemistry and that Bailey should've been chief resident. I'm not liking Mark's crush on Hahn. He has chemistry with Callie and I was really hoping they'd pursue that instead of pairing him off with the new chick.
Plus, I'm hating Hahn anyway. Why is she so mean to Cristina? She liked her in the past! And can Cristina please get a storyline beyond Hahn not liking her? Since when does Cristina take that kind of setback so easily?
But I'm liking this Alex/Lexie thing more than I thought I would. It was great to see him take care of her at the end.
