I'm sad

You may have heard of a baseball player being stabbed to death? He was a Mariner. I liked Greg Halman a lot. Maybe my reasons weren't so great (he was Dutch! He also had a great smile, but they made me like him. I remember being excited over his first MLB home run.

Anyway, I have other things I want to post about and I'm still not really around, but I wanted to talk about this. Hopefully, there will be a Yuletide squee/angst post when assignments go out.

I hadn't heard, but oh my god. :( Stuff like this always makes me sad, even if I'm not familiar with who the person is, but he was 24, oh my god. That's so awful.

That's so awful! How terrible. And so young, too. Not that it would be better if he were older, just that wow, at 24 his life has barely begun.

Very sad. One of the Arkansas Razorbacks (college football) was found dead in his dorm recently, too. Sad.
