I spent a significant part of this evening glaring at my story because I was pretty sure I'd written myself into a hole. But then I decided to ignore those characters for a while, which worked out surprisingly well. I think.

I also spent some time trying to write some programs which went a lot better once I remembered how to do addition. I wish I were kidding about that part.
