I think I need to make a rule to not even try to do homework on Fridays. Every Friday I try to, can't concentrate, and end up hating myself for it. Like yesterday I tried to understand Big-O notation in Discrete Math, was brought nearly to the brink of tears and then did nothing much for the rest of the day. Today, the math is starting to make a more sense, though I think it's crazy and I shouldn't have to do it.

So, after the math debacle yesterday, I watched Juno. I did like it, but I think it was one of those movies that suffered for everyone telling me how great it is--it just wasn't ever going to be able to live up to my expectations. And I'm still just not a movie person. I watch so much TV that I'm used to having a lot of time to get to know and care about characters. Two hours just doesn't seem like enough!

I have a similar problem. If everyone is spazzing over a movie, I can't go see it. My expectations are through the roof and nothing can ever live up to that. I try to wait a while after it comes out on dvd and then see it so I can judge it appropriately.

I have accomplished nothing on my to do list in regards to homework. Just house cleaning. LOL I tried so hard to work on english stuff but the vacuum would call me, then Buffy season 3 would call me, then my dog would call me. You know what I mean:) I've watched all of season six and four. But only a few dvd's of the other seasons. But watching the first two discs of season five really reminded me of how shabbily Buffy treated Riley. It's like over time I forget how crappy she could be to people. I just remember him as Captain Cardboard, but watching season four and the beginning of season five again, I get a much clearer view of him. I'm starting to be very mad at Buffy here. LOL
