Yeah, I did think Rose might stay for the Christmas specials, but I didn't expect to see her after that, so I'm okay if this is the last we saw of her.
But I think the Doctor won't be as bad as we've sometimes seen him. I think he'll be a little happy knowing that one version of him DOES get to be with Rose. And I imagine he'll be sad about about Donna . . . but at least everyone else is in a good place.
