Even more than time, after Doomsday I never expected the Doctor to be with her again, so I mourned with him, and shut the door on her. I think after I rewatch it a few times I may start feeling the Rose love again (although I still think they made her just slightly too whiny.)
I did rewatch that scene, and I do hope you're right. I hope that spending time with blue suit will make her realize that he really is the same man, only this is the man who can express those human emotions and can have the happily-ever-after the real Doctor never can.
