I was hoping the same thing myself, but the more I thought about it - the more it seemed plausible that's where they were headed. Because, they said that some old things will come up and well, Nate/Blair is in the past, so...and you're right, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE AT ALL.
Well, okay, I know that when Blair posted it at the time, it was a rumor. But, by the end of the episode, it wasn't so much. And for me, the punishment just seemed a bit too severe for the crime. I mean, come on, to ruin a Blair's potential future re: Yale - I was just happy that S came to her rescue and tried to talk some sense into Miss C.
I love it when Blair's allowed to be evil and virtually get away with it. That's partially part of her appeal with me, becuase when she's bad - she's just fierce yo'. And when she's good and genuine, you truly know she has a heart underneath all that "tough bitch" exterior. It's great.
I'm not so sure about that, either. I think it's just going to end up hurting everyone in the long run, anyway. And they can't tell me, that something inappropriate wasn't somehow going on between him and Miss C to begin with, anyway. I mean, Rufus has a point, for her to meet with his son in a resturant outside of school even when she's not his teacher and has no reason to - that's a bit on the inappropriate side, as well. And look at how they were trying to tear down Blair. I just don't think it was right, that was my whole point.
Well, it just frustrates me when I see comments like, "I'm glad they're getting rid of stupid Nate/Vanessa..." becuase it's like almost offensive. I know people are entitled to their opinions and all, but it's not like I came here and I was going on off on Nate/Jenny or Nate/Blair for that matter. I just said the show was starting to do stupid things. There's a world of difference, lmao.

But, I totally get what you're saying.
