Name: Olivia How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): I'm in my first year of an English Literature degree (plus a Russian class), so mostly I just go to class and watch TV when I'm trying not to do my homework.
What tv shows are you most into right now?: How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Rec, the Vampire Diaries (my favorite characters are Stefan, Bonnie, and Caroline), Misfits, Nikita, and Community. I'm also about halfway through a Friends rewatch, so you might hear a lot about that for the next month or so. How about music?: I don't talk about music, like at all, but right now I'm into girly pop stuff - Lady Gaga, Kate Nash, Marina & the Diamonds, Alphabeat - plus some indie and hip hop. Books/authors?: One of my New Year's resolutions was to read 50 books, so I'm sort of all over the place. I love Scott Westerfeld, Bill Bryson, Neil Gaiman, and lots of YA fiction. And sometimes I'll go all literary and read nothing but Chekhov and e.e. cummings, so. Movies?: Again, I don't talk much about films, but my favorites are Grosse Point Blank, Stranger Than Fiction, Love Actually, Legally Blonde, Clueless, anything that's fun but smart. Any other interests you'd like to share?: I'm a bit of a feminist, in that I complain about TV shows that don't treat their female characters well.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): I talked about seeing Kelly and Curtis from Misfits at my rival uni, a bit about seasons three and four of Friends, my class schedule next term, and my LJ scrapbook. What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I talk a lot about TV, so preferably they'd have at least a few in common with me, but book and movie talk would also be great! How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I post at least a couple of times a week. I read my flist every day, and I'm trying to be better about commenting.
