I'D FORGOTTEN ABOUT BABY BEE. I mean, I remembered as I was reading, but I hadn't thought of her in years. (I even thought about THAT, as in, like, does Tacy think of her from time to time? When she had kids?) Betsy-Tacy also mentions George and Mary as Tacy's siblings. I can't remember if we get more later on.
AND I LIKE YOUR THEORY ABOUT TACY/HARRY. There's something so intriguing about how comfortable she was with him right away. And just . . . I liked what you said in your letter, too, about Tacy not being interested in boys and dances, but getting married first! (See, so wish fulfillment there! Where's my Harry, lol? I don't want to go to the modern equivalent of dances!)
(Hm, I wonder if all of Tacy's older siblings also accounted for her lack of interest in boys? Because she's 9 out of 11, right? Counting Bee. So presumably she saw her older siblings go through it all for years.)
Oh, and Leo, Katie's boyfriend! He's mentioned in connection with her a LOT, but I don't remember ever hearing much actually ABOUT him?
And speaking of books, I want one on VASSAR! I was so fascinated by what we heard of it and I want to know more! Or the others' college experiences, at co-ed schools.
