Today was such a beautiful, sunny day. I longed for a deck or backyard, so I could outside and do homework, but instead I opened all my blinds and that was nearly as good. And now I've been lying on my bed, listening to an audiobook and staring at the moon. There are too many lights for me to see any stars, but the moon is perfectly visible from my bedroom.

These are the kind of days when I'm certain I want to live my life just like this. No children. No husband. Just me.
