So, the TV season (which, as you know, is the most important important time of the year) is only a couple of weeks away, so I figured it was about time I posted my TV schedule. Created using The Two Cents Fall Preview. (Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] propernice!) Premiere dates in parentheses.

Sunday
10:00 - Brothers & Sisters (September 28)

Monday
8:00 - Gossip Girl (September 1)
8:30 - How I Met Your Mother (September 22)
9:00 - One Tree Hill (September 1)

Tuesday
8:00 - House (September 16)
9:00 - Fringe (September 9)

Wednesday
8:00 - Bones (September 3)
8:00 - Pushing Daisies (October 1)
9:00 - Private Practice (October 1)

Thursday
9:00 - The Office (September 25)
9:00 - Grey's Anatomy (September 25)
9:30 - 30 Rock (October 30)

Winter - 24, American Idol, Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse, Lost, Scrubs

Depending on who you are, that probably seems like either an insane amount of TV or a perfectly normal amount. Right now, the only the only new shows I'm planning to watch are Dollhouse and Fringe. If something else gets a lot of buzz, I'll probably check it out, but, for now, those are the only two that really interest me and I think I watch enough TV, don't you?

Let me know what you guys are watching! I'd ask for any shows you think I should add, but, um . . . yeah, I should probably stop with these ones.

Here's mine

I watched most of Chuck last year and . . . I don't know. Maybe it was one of those shows I just had too high of expectations for. Or maybe I watched too much Alias to enjoy a less serious spy show.

I have a couple of busy nights, but it's not as bad as it was last year, when I ended up with five shows on Thursdays!

I don't even think of Alias when I watch Chuck, but I can see how doing so could effect your view of it. I think a lot of shows suffered because of the strike, though, and there were several that weren't as good as they should have been.

Maybe you should check out True Blood, although I can't vouch for how good it will be.

Yeah, and I can be picky when it comes to the more humorous shows. Maybe I need to develop of better sense of humor. :)

True Blood does sound interesting! I don't have cable, but let me know how it turns out.

Yours are pretty clumped! I'm glad mine are more spread out this year. Last year, I had several really full days.

My schedule is almost identical to yours! Except without Brothers and Sisters and Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, and with Chuck.

I didn't know that Dollhouse wasn't premiering till winter! Good to know.

Can't wait for TV season... it's the best time of the year! :D

Awesome! I do recommend Brothers & Sisters, if you haven't checked it out. It's one of those I ended up liking far more than I expected.

Yeah, I'm disappointed we have to wait so long, but it looks I'll have plenty to watch in the meantime!

Definitely! :D

Ha, only Wednesdays are our TV schedules exact! I don't even plan my nights until the TV guide is up, but it'd help to know in advance. I've missed out on new episodes many times b/c I didn't check in advance!

I can't wait until September--and I hate that some shows don't come back until October.

Hee! I guess we'll have a lot to talk about Wednesday nights/Thursday mornings then! :)

I know! It's going to suck waiting for Pushing Daisies and Private Practice. But at least Bones is only two weeks away. :)

Have you watched Breaking Bad? It's a drama/dark comedy on AMC about a high school chemistry teacher (Bryan Cranston, the father from Malcolm in the Middle) who gets diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and, as a result, starts cooking meth to try and make quick cash to leave for his family after he's gone, unwittingly plunging himself into a dangerously unfamiliar culture of drug dealers, clientele, and law enforcement.

The first season is seven incredible eps long, which I think AMC re-airs frequently and might still have half of on their website, and the second season was originally slated for this Fall, but I think has now been pushed back to early 2009 instead. Still, that counts for Winter. It's an excellent series (with probably the most incredible opening five minutes ever aired on TV!).

I've heard about it, but I've never watched it. Hm . . . maybe I'll check it out. Thanks!

Oh, I'm at it already! Watched Grey's and wasn't all too impressed with the first two episodes... Gossip Girl, on the other hand, loved 2X01!! Started 2X02 but fell asleep earlier LOL

Yeah, I thought Grey's was okay. Better than most of the last year, but still not back to its old glory.

Gossip Girl, though . . . I'm so in love with that show now! First season I liked it well enough, but now I'm OBSESSED. :)
