David Boreanaz and his wife are having a second child! I guess that's a little better than winning a fandom poll! (And I need to track down that interview when I'm no longer sitting in class!)

And now how am I going to spend my day? I don't think I care about the poll results enough to constantly refresh.

I don't think I care about this whole "death match" thing anymore, because I've noticed some people taking a wee bit too personal as far as Spike vs. various different character's goes. It's almost frustrating, seeing a character I love so much talked about like that. Most especially, when all people are citing regarding him is the scene in Seeing Red between him and Buffy and there's so much to Spike, than just that stupid damn one scene. Grr.

Sorry, didn't mean to vent all over you. Fandom in general ticks me off and I think I need to go away. Plus, posted over at my journal and apparently nobody really cares. So yeah, this is me all emo and feeling like crap. Sorry, I emoted all over you.

I KNOW. I think people really are taking it too far with Spike in particular. (I haven't read any of the comments today, but if it's anything like yesterday . . .)

I've definitely taken a step back from fandom and I might need to take even more of a step back. I just want to have fun with my shows and love the characters I love. Fandom can make that tough sometimes . . . fortunately I have a great flist! :D

Anyway, you should go watch some awesome Spike scenes and feel better! I need to do that for some of my favorite characters . . . I know not everyone can love the characters I love, but WHY can't they? Lol . . .

Me, too. I mean, it's bad when you can close your eyes, and feel like you've been transported back into those old back-in-the-day character/shipper wars. It's reached all encompassing epic ridic limits, ya know. Yeah, I love Dean and yes I love Spike, but is it going to be THAT bad if Spike wins over Dean or was it really THAT bad that Spike beat out Veronica? Srsly, fandom...chill out.

I just hate that people are constantly referring to him as a rapist, when he didn't actually rape Buffy. He only sexually attacked her or well, attempted to rape her. I don't think it's okay for him to do that and I'm totally not giving him a pass, but it's like he was a demon at the time and this was before he fought to get his soul back and well...you can't fault him for doing what's in a demon's nature to do. Oh well, I'm off my soapbox. I don't want to offend you or get into a huge discussion brawl or anything...not that we would, but really I've said too much already. lol. Sorry. *hugs*

I have a pretty good flist, too. I mean, most of the time people are pretty cool about fandom and stuff, but there are some instances when I'm like dude...that's just not cool. I just wanna have fun with my shows and the ships/character's that I like, too.

I think I might do that, tonight. Of course, after I'm finished watching American Idol results, Criminal Minds and new CSI: NY. lol. I still need to watch those Buffy episodes from S2, as well. So, I'll totally do that.

Dude, I'm totally lost without Lost. lmao. No punn intended, if there were a new episode of that tonight, I'd totally be watching it instead of AI. But, I figured, why not pay attention to the results and if Anoop gets it over Jorge, I'm gonna be pissed. Grr.

Yeah and I wanna fit in a couple episodes of Californication and The Pretender in, as well. lol.
