Farscape!

I was pretty sure this one was an episode I loved, and it is. I mean, I'd forgotten a lot of the details, but it's so amazing to see Aeryn so vulnerable, Crichton prove himself a little to her and D'Argo, Rygel help save them, etc, etc!

And remember how I said I really, really loved this show? It's inspired me to make my first ever episodic picspam! Caps from Farscape Caps because my computer wasn't cooperating.

Uh. Yeah. I just wanted to point out that until her arm came off, John didn't think there was anything unusual about Aeryn beating him up.



Aeryn: It's up to you.
John: Aeryn, no. I'm trying to--
Aeryn: Before the living death takes hold, you have to be prepared to kill me. Promise.
John: No, not a chance.
Aeryn: You said I'm not alone. A friend would do this for me; family would do it swiftly.



John: Aeryn . . .
Aeryn: I feel the living death.
John: No. No, you hold on. I won't let it happen.
Aeryn: It's not your choice. Remember your promise.




John: Hey, remember me? Didn't we meet at a party a few years back?
Aeryn: Some of what happened, I can't recall -- but almost everything else has come back.
John: How are the shakes?
Aeryn: I'll be fine. You know, I always thought that lesser life-forms were useless. Just something to be squashed.
John:Yeah, it's . . . it's humbling when you realize that . . . you're not talking about the Draks, are you? Fine. Well, on behalf of lesser life-forms everywhere, I accept the . . . compliment.
Aeryn: Could you have kept your promise?
John: You know, all things considered. there are worse ways to end a day.

Okay:
1. Look at those smiles!!
2. Hahaha, She thinks he's a lesser life-form! But maybe not a useless one!
3. I think John would've killed her. Maybe not right away, but I don't think he would've let her suffer for long.

It was such a great episode! They are so pretty! and lol at John not thinking anything was wrong when Aeryn was beating him up. hahahaha.

I agree, he definitely would have kept his promise eventually.

Yay, Farscape prettiness! I'm actually way ahead on the rewatch, but I really need to actually talk about it more and participate in the community discussions. I do like S1 more every time I rewatch it - the first time I watched it I sort of struggled through, just wasn't a big fan of the weird alien-type creatures and whatnot, but of course now I love it.

I know! Then again, Aeryn practically sat on his face when they first meet in the pilot, so...

And I really need to renew my paid account so I can have Farscape icons again!

Yes, come talk to me about it! I never did have the fandom-thing with Farscape, since I watched it on my own. :) I'm trying to stick to the one a week schedule, but I don't know if I'll be able to do that with the later eps!

I feel the same way about the first season! My first time, I liked it well enough to keep watching, but I didn't really get what the big deal was until the second season! But now I see so much to love in these early eps. Everyone's so young and innocent (especially poor John. He has no idea!).

They really are! I first watched it five years ago, and they're STILL one of my absolute faves.

I'm trying to stick to the farscaperewatch schedule of one a week, but I keep wanting to speed ahead. You know, so I can get to scenes like the one in your icon. :D

I love season 1 more and more every time I rewatch it (I've lost count now) and I'm loving seeing the discussions in the community :D It's only episode 3 and you can already see the beginnings of my favourite TV relationship ever. There just aren't enough words for how much I love John and Aeryn.
