Goodbye, Junior

Ken Griffey Jr is retiring.
It's time, but it's sad, too. He'll probably always be my favorite Mariner player and so many of my childhood baseball memories revolve around him.
ETA: Junior's statement. I feel like I should have more to say, but I don't. He's the reason baseball still even exists in Seattle. I'm just going to be quietly bookmarking all the articles that are sure to come out about what he's meant to the Mariners. It wasn't without drama, but that never seemed to matter to me.

Annnd that was a message from a two year old, lol. But, yeah, I'm pretty grateful that I got to watch him. Both growing up when it all just seemed "normal" and then him coming back when I was old enough to really appreciate what he did.
