I try not to judge plots too much before they actually happen, but seriously? They're going back to Nate/Blair? The only thing I could see saving this is if it's some sort of twisted Blair plot and I'm not sure Nate would go for that.
There hasn't been anything between in a long, long time, and I've never been convinced there was all that much there to begin with (especially on Nate's side).
And it makes Nate a WAY crappy friend. Way worse than Chuck was in season one.
Are you talking about the pics? If so all I have to say is WTF, really? They seriously bring back Nate/Blair? SERIOUSLY????
*siiiiiiigh*
Also, I am seriously impressed how the writers try to come up with stupid plots and then they totally igore them. Like with C/B and now with the N/B not avaiable chemistry. *headdesk*
Yeah, the pictures. I'm trying not to get TOO pissed because you never know how it's going to turn out, but given the way the show's been going lately, it's hard to have hope!
I don't even know what's going on with this show. Remember the whole Jack/Blair thing? We never found out what that was about! I'm sure they don't want to get Chuck/Blair together yet, which I sort of understand, but this is ridiculous!
Same here. On the other hand, I pretty much don't care. Which says a lot. *siiiigh*
Don't even let me start on that!! Seriously, are they even remembering WHAT they wrote? This is like writing a romance book but suddenly they wanna do fantasy and crime, too. Seriously.
I think I'll be excited once they actually let Chuck and Blair interact again (you wouldn't think that would be so hard!), but right now . . . *sigh* I think we have a month now until the next episode. I don't think I"ll miss it.
I know. First they started with it and now they neglect it at all. I mean c'mon, Blair said I love you! For heaven's sake. Even if she is a bitch and all, she won't suddenly forget about that etc. *rolleyes*
WTF, much?! Nate/Blair again?! Just...FUMES...this is just NOT in the realm of ever being okay. And what about Nate/V and Chuck/Blair? Plus, are they forgetting that little, we hinted at something happening between Jack/Blair and then never followed up with telling you what actually did go down. This is just stupid, show, really really stupid.
No, it isn't, but I'd read somewhere (can't remember where at the moment) that the producers were saying we were going to be seeing some older stuff come back into play, so I'm wondering if the whole Blair/Nate thing was what he was talking about.
Not to mention, I kinda having a problem with the fact that they think it's perfectly okay to expell Blair from Constance, because she posted something about Dan/Mrs. C on GG that turned out to be true, by the end of the episode. You see, this whole thing is just ridiculous. I thought maybe it might make Dan seem a little more interesting, but now all I see is a guy who had feelings for the woman before he broke with S and I think both S and B, got played big time. It's frustrating.
I agree.
Wow, and some certain people can be rude as hell, when it comes to Nate/V. I think it's just ridiculous, how people can be. I mean, at least you don't seem me in here tearing down Nate/Jenny.
Yeah, I read that, too. I was hoping it didn't refer to Nate/Blair though as (here I go repeating myself, as I'm sure I will again and again!) IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.
I don't know. I agree they shouldn't have expelled Blair, but Blair posted it, knowing it wasn't true. But, honestly, I prefer this show when they just let Blair be evil without facing too many consequences. Maybe that's wrong of me, but it's more fun that way. :)
And I totally agree about Dan. I thought the teacher thing might be good for him, but now I'm not so sure.
Yeah, there's a huge range of opinions about Vanessa and Nate/Vanessa on my flist. I don't mind people rooting for their ships, but they DO come in conflict sometimes. One of unfortunate things about television, I think. :( I mean, I also have people on my flist who ship Nate/Blair, so I'm sure they're thrilled about this, although it makes me sad and angry . . .
I was hoping the same thing myself, but the more I thought about it - the more it seemed plausible that's where they were headed. Because, they said that some old things will come up and well, Nate/Blair is in the past, so...and you're right, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE AT ALL.
Well, okay, I know that when Blair posted it at the time, it was a rumor. But, by the end of the episode, it wasn't so much. And for me, the punishment just seemed a bit too severe for the crime. I mean, come on, to ruin a Blair's potential future re: Yale - I was just happy that S came to her rescue and tried to talk some sense into Miss C.
I love it when Blair's allowed to be evil and virtually get away with it. That's partially part of her appeal with me, becuase when she's bad - she's just fierce yo'. And when she's good and genuine, you truly know she has a heart underneath all that "tough bitch" exterior. It's great.
I'm not so sure about that, either. I think it's just going to end up hurting everyone in the long run, anyway. And they can't tell me, that something inappropriate wasn't somehow going on between him and Miss C to begin with, anyway. I mean, Rufus has a point, for her to meet with his son in a resturant outside of school even when she's not his teacher and has no reason to - that's a bit on the inappropriate side, as well. And look at how they were trying to tear down Blair. I just don't think it was right, that was my whole point.
Well, it just frustrates me when I see comments like, "I'm glad they're getting rid of stupid Nate/Vanessa..." becuase it's like almost offensive. I know people are entitled to their opinions and all, but it's not like I came here and I was going on off on Nate/Jenny or Nate/Blair for that matter. I just said the show was starting to do stupid things. There's a world of difference, lmao.
Yeah. Someone down below mentioned they'd like to see a Nate/Blair friendship and that I agree with. I'd love to see them become real friends.
True. This is Blair's future! They shouldn't take that away. I actually did like the stuff with her dad, though, because that felt more real to me.
Exactly! Blair's the bitch with the heart and that's how I like the show.
Oh yeah, the relationship between Dan and the teacher was inappropriate to begin with! Meeting outside of school? Calling her by her first name? Even if nothing had happened later on, that was just asking for trouble!
Well, you hopefully won't hear any of that stuff from me personally anyway. I do try to keep a positive attitude about my shows, despite my reaction to these spoilers! :)
Eh, I'm ok with it. I doubt it'll last that long and this show has been so uninteresting lately anyway so I'm open to shakeups.
I hope afterward they start becoming actual friends again because it has kind of annoyed me how they dated for YEARS and then were barely even friends anymore.
I'm sure this will end up being about Chuck/Blair in the end. I'm not worried.
And they do look awfully pretty kissing in the snow!
Yeah, I would like to see a Nate/Blair friendship, but I wish that didn't have to involve them dating (or whatever), even if it does lead to Chuck/Blair.
I take Nate/Blair over pointless Nate/Vanessa anytime! I don't think it's gonna be something that'll last long though, maybe Blair was feeling really down about something and Nate being the boyfriend since kindergarten, Blair might want to confide in him, hence the kiss...
and another reason could be that writers are out of ideas on Chuck/Blair, hence the secret society plot for Chuck and Blair's pointless expulsion..
But to be honest, I miss the chemistry between Blair and Nate, it's mostly because they're wasting Chace's hotness. I know putting Nate in the picture is really "wtf!?" at this point, but it might worth it! I have hope!
I can see that, but it just seems like such a betrayal of Chuck. (More from Nate's side then Blair's.) On the other hand, I do think they resolved the Nate/Blair relationship too quickly last year, so maybe they'll get some closure there.
and another reason could be that writers are out of ideas on Chuck/Blair, hence the secret society plot for Chuck and Blair's pointless expulsion..
I honestly think that's a part of it. They're not letting Blair and Chuck interact al all, which is just ridiculous, but I guess they're out of ways to stop them from making out. ;)
