Date: 2011-02-06 06:03 am (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): I work at home as a part time independent contractor, which basically translates to me never leaving my computer, let alone the house!
What tv shows are you most into right now?: Greek, Cougar Town and Parks and Recreation. I'm also really enjoying this season of American Idol, though I'm not posting much about it (yet?).
How about music?: Nothing right now.
Books/authors?: Brandon Sanderson is my current favorite. I'm about to start A Song of Ice and Fire. My GoodReads (http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1710785).
Movies?: Nothing right now.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: BASEBALL! It's so close to spring training! My team is the Seattle Mariners.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): This friending meme! Or, okay, last night I posted an entry about my Grandma buying a Kindle and how I was kind of hyper and people should talk to me.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Book talk is always good! And baseballs fans, since I sometimes end up posting a lot of baseball entries and it's nice to have people around who know what I'm talking about. :) But anyone, really!
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I read my flist daily and comment a lot. I probably post 6-7 times a week, though generally only once a day.
Anything else?: Nope! :)

Date: 2011-02-06 07:40 am (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): Work + LiveJournal (which thankfully are not separate things atm =P)
What tv shows are you most into right now?: Greek, Big Bang Theory, Blue Mountain State, Vampire Diaries, Bones, Community.
How about music?: I like all the things, but I love songs with a beat and flow, whether they're mainstream or indie. (Right now I'm listening to "Bossy" by Kelis and looking at this 30 Rock gif above the comment box, and I'm not sure I'm going to make it through this meme.)
Books/authors?: For some reason I've been reading a lot of Phillipa Gregory and Tamora Pierce lately. I have no idea.
Movies?: RomComs are where it's at. DON'T JUDGE.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: Yeah besides TV and LJ I don't have much going on.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): It's been a few images, a few videos, some squeeing about Greek, and twitter imports. My journal updating has been a bit sparse due to my current job, but I'm getting better!
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): All kinds. I love the diversity of my flist.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I read everything. Since I'm on LJ all day anyway, I read my flist all day. I'm not a great commenter though, fair warning.

Date: 2011-02-06 08:00 am (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): Right now I'm mostly looking for new houses in between working (as a photographer). But in two weeks that will completely change because school starts back up and destroys my whole schedule.
There are also two kids but I don't talk much about them in my journal. I know how boring stories about other people's children are!
What tv shows are you most into right now?: GOOD WIFE. I am severely obsessed. Plus Castle, House, Vampire Diaries, Modern Family and Community.
How about music?: Gypsy & the Cat are my new fave. Also been listening to a lot of The National, Black Keys, Pendulum and The Jezabels. I'm looking for some new hip hop actually, so any recommendations would be awesome!
Books/authors?: Currently re-reading my all-time fave, The Master and Margarita. Next up will either be Guillermo del Toro's The Strain or I might check out The Hunger Games to see what all the fuss is about.
Movies?: Not a huge movie person, I'm way more into television.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: AFL, NBA, NHL. And photography!
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): It was my first post back from holidays so I was catching up on that and my house flooding and some tv flail, plus a photo. So a fairly typical entry, really :P
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Anyone into Good Wife is automatically friend material! Other than that, there's nothing in particular I look for. I'll talk to everyone!
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I usually read every day and comment wherever I can (sometimes my phone won't let me and I give up pretty easily). Posting I'm getting worse at, maybe once every two or three weeks? I try not to make them too long though, and usually include something pretty to look at :)
Anything else?: I'm on tumblr (http://delightfulcoconut.tumblr.com) and do a lot of my flailing there too :D

Date: 2011-02-06 08:22 am (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): Most of my days are spent at university (I'm in my last year of law school), and my free time is usually divided by either playing volleyball or working part-time for a catering service. Whenever none of those three things fill up my schedule, I read, watch TV, spend time online or hang out with my friends.
What tv shows are you most into right now?: Probably Fringe and I've just started Rizzoli & Isles the other day. Every other current show I'm actually not all that excited about ...for some reason I'm way too much in love with old(er) shows like The West Wing, Dawson's Creek, and Lost.
How about music?: LastFM (http://www.last.fm/user/SweetHaven) really says it all!
Books/authors?: Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, How to Kill a Mockingbird, Tempe Brennan Series, The Millennium Trilogy, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Series, anything by David Baldacci
Movies?: Dirty Dancing, Save the Last Dance, Sleeper, The American President, The Social Network
Any other interests you'd like to share?: law, politics, traveling, volleyball
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): Let's see, I'm currently doing the 30 Days of West Wing meme and besides that I've talked about work a lot lately, and general LJ stuff (like the disappearing of comments and the introduction of games because really?!).
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): If people share a love for my shows, they're all the more welcome but in general I'm really happy if people just want to get to know they f'list and maybe talk with them outside LiveJournal
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I try to post once a day and read my f'list usually two to three times a day. As for how often I comment, well whenever I have something to say really because I don't just want to comment for the sake of it.

What tv shows are you most into right now?: Chuck, Castle, Bones, Parks and Recreation, The Good Wife, The Vampire Diaries, Modern Family, Cougar Town, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Greek, The Office, 30 Rock, Community and White Collar
How about music?: Ingrid Michaelson, Florence + the Machine, Adele, Snow Patrol, Sara Bareilles, Mumford & Sons (but I just love listening, I don't talk about it much)
Books/authors?: I'm a little bit obsessed with The President's Daughter series. I love to read YA novels (Sarah Dessen, Meg Cabot) and I usually love the book the most that I read last (unless it sucked)
Movies?: Walk The Line, Once, The Interpreter, Love Actually, Tangled, Mean Girls
Any other interests you'd like to share?: I love languages and traveling.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): I wrote about going skiing with my friends, as well as the newest episodes of Bones, Parks and Rec, The Office and The Vampire Diaries.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I really only talk about TV (in terms of fandom), so it'd be fantastic if we had a few shows in common, but I enjoy reading people's opinions on books, too. I'd love it if you posted about your real life at least sometimes as well so I can get to know you better.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I read my flist a few times a day and I never skip posts. I don't comment on every post, but I try to be around. I post about every other day, usually.

What tv shows are you most into right now?: Castle, The Vampire Diaries, Hawaii Five-0, Southland, Modern Family, Justified, Off the Map, Community, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, and so many more. (Basically, if it's in my icons, I'm into it.)
How about music?: Rihanna, Seabird, Far East Movement, Rilo Kiley, She & Him, The Runaways, The Beatles, Aerosmith, U2, Lifehouse, The Rolling Stones, Nick Drake, Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, Florence + The Machine, The Kills, Patti Scialfa, Sara Bareilles, and many, many more.
Books/authors?: The History of Love, White Oleander, Lolita, Blue Blood, Born Confused, The Hunger Games. I really want to start A Song of Ice and Fire, as well as get into The Imperfectionists and Freedom.
Movies?: Rear Window, Black Swan, Lost in Translation, A Love Song for Bobby Long, Inglourious Basterds, The Dreamers, Star Wars, Waitress.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: I love cheese?
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): Um, me ranting about spraining my ankle and then trying to catch up on Thursday's night of TV (including Community, which I both love and take issue with at the same time.)
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Anyone who shares the same fandoms or interests, because I love talking shop about TV, books or movies.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I read daily, probably update every other couple of days, and comment when I feel like I have something to contribute?

What tv shows are you most into right now?: The Good Wife, The Vampire Diaries, Fringe, Bones, Parks and Rec, and Mad Men
How about music?: I've been trading off listening to Adele and Joshua Radin's new albums for most of the weekend. I like other things, too.
Books/authors?: I'm bouncing around all over the place these days, but the new Lauren Willig release was the highlight of my reading year so far. My favorite author of all time is probably Madeleine L'Engle.
Movies?: The last movie I watched was Ocean's 11 and that's entirely the fault of genderswapped AU's. My favorite NEW movie that I've seen in the last few months is probably The Social Network. Of all time, The Philadelphia Story.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: Football! I love football (Packers and Badgers fan) and hockey, although I am mostly an NHL-less team because the team in the city I live in sucks so much and I didn't grow up with one.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): Let's see, the cat being annoying, plot holes/time line issues on The Vampire Diaries, Fringe reaction.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I would love more people to talk books with or any of the shows I listed above. Mostly I just want people who will read and comment and reply to comments that I leave them.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I read my flist multiple times per day. I try to comment on everything, I don't succeed, but I do try. I probably post 3-4 times per week. That probably varies a lot.

Date: 2011-02-06 03:21 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): I'm an English tutor and getting my PhD in Literature. Besides that I watch lots of TV (probably mostly when I should be working on my thesis), and I spend a lot of time online. When I'm not doing any of those things I like to spend time with my friends. I also love to hang out with my dog, which can obviously be combined with TV, internet and writing :)
What tv shows are you most into right now?: My main obsession right now is Glee. Other current favs are House, How I Met Your Mother, Mike & Molly, Parenthood, Hellcats, Off the Map, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Big Bang Theory, Brothers and Sisters and then there are more shows that I watch but this would get too long... Oh, I'm also in the middle of a Gilmore Girls rewatch right now, one of my all time favorite shows.
How about music?: I mostly listen to Gianna Nannini, an Italian rock singer but I also love other stuff. Robbie Williams, Dido, Pink, Janis Joplin, Carol King, Coldplay, Ingrid Michaelson, Patti Smith, The Police, Sting, Bryan Adams and some more. As mentioned before though, Gianna Nanninia has been my main obsession for years now and I think the fact that I've seen her live about 50 times proves that. Lastfm (http://www.last.fm/user/stellicidio)
Books/authors?: My favorites are Margaret Atwood, Margaret Laurence and Harry Mulisch. I also like Sue Townsend, Diana Weisberger and last year I got into Sarah Dessen. Right now I'm reading some Meg Cabot. Goodreads (http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/629977-chiara)
Movies?: I love Robert Downey Jr. so everything he's in. I also love Notting Hill, Four Weddings And A Funeral, Love Actually, About A Boy so romantic comedies involving Hugh Grant are always a big with me also. Other movies I like are Grease, Dirty Dancing, A Nightmare on Elmstreet, The Silence of the Lambs, Up in the Air, The Sixth Sense, The Hours, Ocean's 11, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Carribean, Shrek, The Discovery of Heaven.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: I like to cook, go to concerts and travel.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): I wrote about a dog who was maltreated and needed to be rescued (which has happened)
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I'm not really picky but TV lovers are always welcome of course! If you love Matthew Morrison and Glee, great! As I said though, anybody is welcome :)
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I might now and then fall behind but I do always catch up on my flist and read everything and I always try to comment on most things. These days I'm trying to be good and check in on my flist every day so I can keep up. My own posting varies, I might post three times a day or 3 times a week or less.
Anything else?: Check my profile if you want to know more!

Date: 2011-02-06 03:52 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): Currently Uni and my dissertation - mixed with watching lots of TV :P
What tv shows are you most into right now?: Bones, House, Misfits, Grey's Anatomy, Keeping Up With the Kardashians :P and I want to watch more Castle and Mad Men
How about music?: LastFm - showerofsparks
Books/authors?: Currently reading Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer - because of the amazing film it was and it's a good book so far too, but Jodi Picoult love her books, I also love reading biographies and real life books, other than that it's a mix!
Movies?: Too many to list - I have put a few in my profile interests though. However these need a mention; Walk The Line, The Sound Of Music, Into The Wild, The King's Speech, Morning Glory, Erin Brokervich, The Proposal, Finding Neverland Practical Magic, Pride and Prejudice probably some others that I have missed but that should give a gist!
Any other interests you'd like to share?: Football! The UK version :P
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): me ranting about how much work I have to do, and how it's my final year and I just basically want to curl in a ball and cry and wake up when it's all over :P they aren't normally like this, I am just majorly stressed right now!! Final year is horrible, sorry if anyone has this to come, don't worry it is tough, but survivable!
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Just people that will become actual friends as well as squeeing over TV shows and films ;) :P
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I'm around quite a bit, but don't update every day, may be a few period where I don't update a lot because of how busy I am, but I read everyone's updates and comment when I can.
Anything else?:
Everyone should go see "The King's Speech" because it is a flipping good film!!! :P
and Hello! :D

Date: 2011-02-06 04:00 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): Work, unfortunately, but I have big dreams for
ifwhen I win the lotto. I work till about 6, 630 most nights and then either come home, get in my jammies, and watch TV or I go out casually with friends or coworkers. What tv shows are you most into right now?: Top 5 are: Vampire Diaries, Fringe, Bones, Good Wife, Chuck but there's lots more (I watch way too much TV)
How about music?: Bruce Springsteen and classic rock are always my go tos. I'm getting into Gaslight Anthem. But I like top 40 songs I can dance to as well!
Books/authors?: I am reading the Strain trilogy by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan and you all should be too. Janet Evanovich, James Patterson, Harlan Coben, and Jonathon Troepper are authors whose books I'd buy in hardcore.
Movies?: Top 5: Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, Toy Story, Die Hard, Sweet Home Alabama. (I know, weird group)
Any other interests you'd like to share?: I love sports and celebrities. And happy hours, probably most of all.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): Babbling about my new apartment (I move in 3 weeks!), asking questions of Tumblr (should I get one? Seems like a lot of work!), link to Kenneth Cole's fake twitter, babbling about all the awesome TV this week. Which is pretty much standard. I talk about RL, I talk about TV, I try to throw in some random links.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Friends that have a few things in common with me, doesn't matter the fandom.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I read my flist at night when I come home and comment on what I see. I post maybe once or twice a week ... I want to post more but sometimes my brain is just broken after work!
Anything else?: Go Packers? My boyfriend's a HUGE Steelers fan so publicly I'm rooting for them but they beat my beloved Jets in the Championship so really...go Packers. (And also, go my stomach for eating my weight in dip)

Date: 2011-02-06 04:06 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): I'm in my first year of an English Literature degree (plus a Russian class), so mostly I just go to class and watch TV when I'm trying not to do my homework.
What tv shows are you most into right now?: How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Rec, the Vampire Diaries (my favorite characters are Stefan, Bonnie, and Caroline), Misfits, Nikita, and Community. I'm also about halfway through a Friends rewatch, so you might hear a lot about that for the next month or so.
How about music?: I don't talk about music, like at all, but right now I'm into girly pop stuff - Lady Gaga, Kate Nash, Marina & the Diamonds, Alphabeat - plus some indie and hip hop.
Books/authors?: One of my New Year's resolutions was to read 50 books, so I'm sort of all over the place. I love Scott Westerfeld, Bill Bryson, Neil Gaiman, and lots of YA fiction. And sometimes I'll go all literary and read nothing but Chekhov and e.e. cummings, so.
Movies?: Again, I don't talk much about films, but my favorites are Grosse Point Blank, Stranger Than Fiction, Love Actually, Legally Blonde, Clueless, anything that's fun but smart.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: I'm a bit of a feminist, in that I complain about TV shows that don't treat their female characters well.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): I talked about seeing Kelly and Curtis from Misfits at my rival uni, a bit about seasons three and four of Friends, my class schedule next term, and my LJ scrapbook.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I talk a lot about TV, so preferably they'd have at least a few in common with me, but book and movie talk would also be great!
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I post at least a couple of times a week. I read my flist every day, and I'm trying to be better about commenting.

Date: 2011-02-06 07:48 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): I'm Australian on exchange studying law in Ottawa, Canada at the moment! So I'm usually in class, doing work for class, doing work for an internet marketing company back in Australia, relaxing online or sleeping. I'm sitting in a cafe right now drinking a cupcake latte, which is also typical. I should be reading a book for my Feminist Legal Issues class tomorrow but instead I am here doing this. :P
What tv shows are you most into right now?: Being Erica, Lost Girl, Parks and Rec, Cougar Town, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, SNL, Survivor, Greek, SVU, Weeds and The Big C definitely top the list.
How about music?: Musical theatre, Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, Meiko, Adele, April Smith and the Great Picture Show, Regina Spektor...
Books/authors?: I love lesbian historical fiction (Sarah Waters, Emma Donoghue) and memoirs. While I'm in school I love to relax with a good YA novel. At the moment I'm most enjoying YA books by Maureen Johnson and John Green.
Movies?: To be honest, I'm not much of a movie person. Give me a musical or quirky romantic comedy and I'll be happy.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: My #1 interest would be musical theatre. I go to New York and see as many shows as I can as often as possible!
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): I went to see Savion Glover (a very famous tap dancer) last night and just found out I am going to be puppy-sitting for a friend's puppy! But can I cheat and also add that the post before that was when I spoke about my encounter with Tina Fey in New York? Because that happened. :D
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I find mutual "fandoms" aren't necessarily super important, but are often a good starting point. I love friends who appreciate theatre, but that's not compulsory. People who update often and write well because I love reading posts and interacting with my flist!
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: Every day. It's how I ~unwind.

How about music?: She and Him, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, The Beatles.

Movies?: RENT, Casablanca, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, It's a Wonderful Life, North by Northwest, Rear Window, Strangers on a Train (okay, I like Hitchcock a lot), anything with Meryl Streep.
Any other interests you'd like to share?: Horse-riding, tennis (more watching than playing right now), editing, epic TV rewatches.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): TV episode notes, a meme, and my TV schedule. My posts consist of about 60% fandom, 40% Real Life, although that does change occasionally.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Anyone I have a few things in common with, really. I'm not fussy on which shows/books/movies.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: Post almost daily, and I comment as much as I can, which is quite a lot right now.

Date: 2011-02-06 08:30 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): Currently unemployed! As of a week on Monday. So now I spend my time watching lots of t.v. and reading.
What tv shows are you most into right now?: In order of 'into-ness': V, Sanctuary, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Community, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Perfect Couples, Mad Men, The Walking Dead. (The last two are higher when not on hiatus.)
How about music?: I pretty much only listen to Lady Gaga and show tunes, lol.
Books/authors?: The Women's Murder Club novels by James Patterson, the Hunger Games series, Toni Morrison novels, Octavia Butler novels, anything classical, for the most part.
Movies?: Mean Girls, Talladega Nights, Zombieland, Disney movies (Classic first, then Renaissance, then Pixar.)
Any other interests you'd like to share?: I love love love LOST (Sawyer/Juliet = OTP) and Battlestar Galactica (Roslin/Adama = OTP)
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): The most 5 most recent posts: Juliet Burke prompt/picspam, an insane facebook status from a former manager that I needed to rant about, love for Parks an Rec, pictures of the snowpocolypse, and learning that the day after I quit my job, I needed a new water heater.
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I don't necessarily ONLY talk about fandom, so I guess I'm just looking for friends who share common interests with me who can stick around even if a show ends.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I post at least every other day, I comment when I feel like I'm actually contributing, but I read every day. The refresh button is my friend now that I'm unemployed, lol.
Anything else?: I also love gifs. I seriously have my photobucket broken down into albums, and then emotion I'm trying to convey in said gif. And they range fandoms.

Date: 2011-02-06 08:34 pm (UTC)How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): I'm studying to be a translator (English and Danish to Dutch), which I'm having lots of fun with (not the school-part, though, but the translating-part). Other than that, I watch tv, read fanfiction and go to concerts.
What tv shows are you most into right now?: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Charmed, Merlin, Castle, Stargate: Atlantis, Criminal Minds, Dawson's Creek, The Big Bang Theory, Hellcats
How about music?: JackoBond, (other Flemish artists), Britney Spears, Lene Marlin, Saving Jane, Anna Nalick

Any other interests you'd like to share?: I love to cross-stitch! And Land Comms. I adorrrre Land Comms.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): My most recent LJ post had only an overview of stats for January (number of TV episodes I watched, books I read... that sort of thing), 'cause I adore stats and lists. (One before that was a meme)
What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): I'm always looking for Charmed fans, because I believe the Charmedlove on LJ is severely lacking. Other than that, I mostly like friends who actually take the time to comment on my entries; I also really try to comment on theirs.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I'm kind of around all the time XD

What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Bones is the show that I'm REALLY into right now, so an interest in that would help. Other than that, I'm basically just interested in friends who still you know, USE lj. Tumblr and Twitter has seemed to steal a good portion of my friends.
How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I'm around a lot. I don't post super often (once a week, give or take), but I'm always checking my flist and commenting whenever I have anything to say.

How do you spend your days? Uh, staring in horror at my GCal, because I have two exams upcoming, and instead of studying nonstop I do...this??? Not that that's right now or anything. ¬.¬
What TV shows are you most into right now? ...Um, I wanted to explain stuff as I went, but then this section alone exceeded 4300 characters. So, instead -
Current shows I've seen all or most of: Psych, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Lie to Me, Hannah Montana.
Current show I've seen some of, and adore, and have a sekrit name for (silly story), but am moving through at a SNAIL'S PACE, because it's with a friend: Cougar Town.
Current show the IDEA of which I like, and the spoilers of which flist has sucked me into caring about, but I quit watching in irritation and haven't managed to restart: Glee.
Current shows I am seriously considering: Greek, The Good Wife, Episodes, Mr. Sunshine, Chuck?
Other shows I mentioned, but now you don't get to know why: Friends, Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, Sports Night, Studio 60, Alias, Scrubs, Coupling (UK), Mad Men, Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice, The Office (US), Jack and Bobby, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenaged Witch, Digimon (Adventure), Pokemon, Will and Grace, the list goes on... Do things like Band of Brothers and Dr. Horrible count?
Music? Varies. Includes bad pop from ten years ago, and musicals.
Books/authors? I wish I had time to read as much now as as a kid, but I don't. Currently I'm still stuck halfway through B2 of A Song of Ice and Fire. I got distracted by school and discouraged because I was accidentally spoiled for EVERYONE DYING. D= (If you're unspoiled: No, not literally; sorry; I exaggerate.) Besides that, my impulse is to list classic childhood favorites, a few fantasy series, several persuasions of chick lit, and the occasional "real book," as recommended.
Movies? Romcoms, Disney/Pixar, major adaptations, things that get hype - these are what I'll see in theatres, or watch online/DVD/Demand soon after. I LOVE several movies that aren't any of the above, but I don't get around to seeing them and finding out until I'm forced to or maybe I'm on vacation.
Any other interests? Theatre, very much, though I may or may not discuss it. Boston, city of my heart, inconsistent sports teams and all. Food, crafts, fuzzy colorful socks.
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post: Snow. Driving. No Strings Attached. School/food/kittens/Psych? (It's public; you can go read it if you want.)
What kind of friends are you looking for? Er...well, when I feel in need of friends of a certain bent, I find them. But I did have someone friend me out of the blue because they liked me on friendsfriends, and that was surprising and fun and new! so why not post and see who's actually intrigued? instead of pouncing on strangers...
Hello! I am friendly and chipper and genuinely interested in others! My hobbies include snarking, flailing, and being frivolous! :D
It would probably be best if you were good at parsing rambling, and didn't mind hearing (or scrolling past) non-fandom talk.
Oh, and if you were sane. (By which I mean, for instance, I'm quite shippy, but usually at least able to hear other sides, if not downright happy to try and play. If you are super-intense in a negative, closed-minded sort of way (meaning squee and socially critical rage don't count!), I might be afraid of you.)
How much are you around? I check my flist like a reflex, after email and facebook, which means pretty often. It's kind of ironic, though, because a month ago I had no flist to speak of (I took basically a super-long fandom-except-Yuletide hiatus). Currently I read almost everything and comment if I have any thoughts. And I post...er, more often than expected! but still only once or twice a week, and never as fannishly as I feel like I should. x_x But I try! I feel guilty that people are reading maybe expecting, like, incisive TV commentary (HAHAHA, as if), and instead I'm talking about, like, how I got lost on the way to the movies.

Date: 2011-02-08 06:02 pm (UTC)School does tend to get in the way of everything, huh?
a few fantasy series
Like?
I might be sane in the I-don't-care-who-you-ship sense, but to say that I'm sane... might be an exaggeration xD

What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): Um People who will be interested in my life and comment I guess. Not for any particular fandom or anything... SCAdians are great, if there are any of those out there.
