Name: Kristin (tin not ten, as I always tell people when they are trying to spell it) How do you spend your days? (Work, school, unemployment, watching lots of tv, etc): work! I clock my hours at a local/organic grocery store and nursery. hanging with friends and teevee and reading and biking around the 'burbs. What tv shows are you most into right now?: I have a love/hate relationship with Glee, Gossip Girl, and Grey's Anatomy. I'm into Modern Family, Doctor Who, Shameless, Parks and Rec, Bones, Friday Night Lights, Community, and my old faves include Buffy, Pushing Daisies, Freaks and Geeks, BSG, and Spaced. How about music?: A little bit of everything - I'm into indie and folk mostly, with an emphasis on lady singers. Rilo Kiley, Beach House, Neko Case, Lissie, the Raveonettes, Kate Bush etc. Noah and the Whale, New Pornographers, Decemberists. Books/authors?: Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, Willa Cather - lately I'm plowing my way through the Song of Ice and Fire books. Harry Potter. Steve Martin is a really great author too. I read pretty much constantly, I just bought The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter that I'm really excited for. Movies?: Austen adaptations/period pieces, Amelie, Sliding Doors, action movies with awesome ladies (so Iron Man, really) Imagine Me and You. Any other interests you'd like to share?: I grew up on a farm and have a very detailed apocalypse survival plan haha. I'm trying to learn how to knit, and I used to ride horses and play lots of sports (then I got old and lazy)
Describe the contents of your most recent LJ post (in however much detail you're comfortable with): pictures of a party I went to, talking about work, and I live with my boyfriend so he features kinda largely. What kind of friends are you looking for? (Fans of a particular show? People who want to talk books? Movie lovers?): People who update a lot, people who love awesome ladies like Leslie Knope, book lovers, liberals haha. How often do you read your flist? Post? Comment? Basically, how much are you around?: I comment quite a bit, especially if you talk about tv/books and have photos! I try and update frequently but sometimes my full time job gets in the way.
